Migros increases stake in the Cash + Carry Angehrn.
Migros will control 80% of the wholesale business of Cash + Carry Angehrn (CCA).
In 2006 the strategic agreement between Migros and CCA gave Migros a 30% stake in CCA. Under the agreement, the participation of Migros would increase to 80% from 1 July 2012 with the remaining 20
% in the hands of the family business CSF.
CCA operates nine wholesale markets and supplies restaurants, hotels, canteens and village shops.
Migros is pleased to expand its activities in wholesale trade and says its customers will benefit from a range of new services and more attractive assortments.
