Hortyfrutta requires harvesting and marketing of fruit at the optimal point of maturity.
Hortyfrutta, the interprofessional organization of fruit & vegetables in Andalusia, begins a new campaign for production and distribution sectors.
This campaign aims to raise on the importance of harvesting and marketing at the optimal point of maturity.
Hortyfutta recommends:
- 11° for the watermelon
- 13 ° for Galia melon
- 14 ° for yellow melon
Three phone numbers are also available to report irregular practices in harvesting and marketing of melons and watermelons that do not meet these quality requirements.
