First Argentine lemons have appeared on the market and met good demand - price was 1,15 US $/kg but quantities were rather small. The situation will change as concerns new deliveries - together with more quantities of lemons on the market the price will drop. Turkish season doesn't finish with happy end - price level is from 0,57 to 0,92 US $/kg for all kind of quality levels. Spanish lemons quantities were negligible to talk about any clear trend.
The leader of sales in week 14 are still Spanish Ortalines - good quality, sound, layered stuff started on 1,72 US $/kg in the beginning of the week on 1,60 US $/kg. Moroccan story comes to an end with small sizes over and large ones left in stocks - 0,96 - 1,34 US $/kg.
Pakistani Kinnows are going up and down. In week 13 as all the importers planned to increase quantities counting on lack of mandarins. Exporters from Pakistan satisfied their quantity requirements by lowering the quality. As a result there is no shortage at all and prices dropped to 0,845 - 0,92 US $/kg in Moscow.
In the meantime fresh Argentine arrivals of Satsuma variety were appreciated on the market as long as quantities not yet came in Good start with 1,65 US $/kg level.
Traders just want to get rid of Turkish Minneola in any way.
