Sum Organics is ready for the winter organic season
Sum Organics, the premiere off-season importer of organic fruits in North America, announced about the winter fruit range.
Organic table grapes
The company offers organic table grapes from Peru in their label for delivery on both coasts during the winter months when organic fruit options are limited. Awe Sum Organics begins the season with grapes from Northern Peru and finishes the season with their Southern Peruvian grape production, which allows a stable supply for four months from mid-December to early April. Growers’ organic vineyards of company in Northern and Southern Peru combine to provide a full supply of high-quality red, green, black organic seedless grapes, and Awe Sum Red Globe grapes.
Both growers use Awe Sum Organics' patented method for improving bud break in table grapes that is organically approved by the USDA’s National Organic Program, and they also use company's cutting edge of BioFlora Organic fertilization program for organic table grapes.
Organic blueberry
Among winter fruit range of the company there are also organic Chilean blueberries, which grown at the deep rich, volcanic and unusually fertile soil in the most Northern part of Region IX. Together with the optimal climate, the Chilean soil is perfect for organic blueberry production, ensuring strong fruit and a reliable and bountiful supply. Sum Organic’s blueberries are 100% Duke variety, has large berry size and is very firm. It is available on the market from late December to early February.
Organic kiwifruit
In addition, the company offers organic kiwifruit, one of nature's most perfect and nutrient rich foods. Sourced from growers in both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres, Organic Green and Gold Kiwifruit are always harvested at the ideal time for peak flavor and perfect ripening. Brix levels and dry matter content are closely monitored throughout the growing season and fruits are not harvested until the balance is right.
