Uganda losses banana crops worth US$30m per year due to the wilt disease.
The biggest challenge is to control banana wilt disease that has hit most districts in the country and causes banana crops losses worth US$10m each per year.
Tthe disease has had a detrimental impact on the livelihoods of the rural populations that depend on banana crops.
