Emirates SkyCargo operates a fleet of 259 aircraft, its cargo centers and controlled temperature storage spaces cover 25,000m2 in Dubai
SkyFresh is a set of new solutions that complements the SkyCargo division of the Emirates airline. State-of-the-art infrastructure, a large fleet of aircraft, experienced personnel and a range of innovative solutions to preserve the freshness of perishable products throughout the transport process.
By offering several levels: Emirates SkyFresh, is intended for fruits and vegetables tolerant to temperature, fast management and normal thermal protection. Then, Emirates SkyFresh Breathe, for perishable temperature-sensitive products (fresh cut flowers, cut fruits and vegetables), priority management and use of ventilation equipment. Finally, Emirates SkyFresh Active, for perishable products requiring no temperature deviation, priority management and use of temperature controlled containers during transport.
In 2016, Emirates SkyCargo transported almost 400,000 tons of perishable products to its worldwide network of over 150 destinations (strawberries from California, flowers from Ecuador, mangoes from India, etc.).
