G20 of fruits and vegetables will gather 20 producing European regions of fruits and vegetables.
For its 2010 edition, Macfrut in Cesena opts for innovation and for the European Union.
The novelty of this year will be: "G20 of fruit and vegetables ", planned October 5th and 6th, which will allow 20 bigger producing European regions of fruits and vegetables to finalize a unique document with the aim of the adoption of common rules on the market, particularly as regards international supermarkets.
The first G20 of fruit and vegetables settles has the objective of the largest revenue distribution throughout the sector.
The first day of G20, 24 hours before the opening of Macfrut 2010, will take the shape of the "European Summit Fruit " and will present forecasts of 4 of the main references in fruits and vegetables: apples, pears, kiwis and citrus fruits.
The second day will be dedicated to define a common strategy to producers to face international supermarkets.
