Dutch retailer to introduce biodegradable packaging

Dutch supermarket chain Albert Heijn is to begin using biodegradable packaging for all of its fresh organic fruit and vegetables.
The retailer has been using biodegradable packaging on some its organic produce for the last three years, and this month all 22 types of fresh organic fruit and vegetables will be changed to biodegradable wrapping.
