Poland: Import of raisins mainly from Iran

According to statistical data analysis of the Polish Center of the Customs Administration (CAAC), the Polish import of raisins in the period January-September 2008 was at 10.9 thousand tons.
Compared to 2007 cherry imports rose by about 1.5 thousand tons. The raisins are from Iran (3.9 thousand. T), China (2.8 thousand tons) and Turkey (1.3 thousand. Metric tons of raisins) are imported.
