Italy and the Mediterranean countries

Tony Bongiovanni, Fructidor's country manager for Italy, informs us the creation of the "Mediterranean Fruit Company", a company made up of 16 Italian companies of the fruit and vegetable sector and additional industries. Among them there are production companies, crop nurseries, farming equipment companies, manufacturing companies for fruit stations & refrigeration and specialists in packing. The objective of the group is to be established in Egypt, in Iran, in Turkey and Tunisia and to develop partnerships with companies in these countries. That will make it possible for Italy then to become a platform of distribution for Northern and Eastern Europe.
