In the ranking of the most exported products, lychee, rambutan, dragon fruit, mango and longan appear in a good position.
The turnover of Vietnamese exports of Fruits and Vegetables will largely exceed the target of 3 billion USD for 2017.
The General Department of Statistics announced that national exports of Fruits & Vegetables in mid-December 2017 reached a turnover of 3.345 billion USD.
Vietnamese Fruits & Vegetables are now present in 60 countries. The main market remains China with 75.7% of the volume exported. Followed by Japan, the United States, South Korea, the Netherlands, Malaysia and Thailand.
In 2017, Vietnamese Fruits & Vegetables recorded growth in 19 of their 23 major markets. The strongest gains were in Japan (+ 70%), Hong Kong (+ 67%) and the United Arab Emirates (+ 57.4%).
With this good momentum and global market demand, 2018 exports could further improve these performances.
