Drop in sales for Big Food Group

Big Food Group has announced that group sales fell by 3.3 percent in the second quarter which ended 30th September.
Its frozen food retailer Iceland posted a 3.9 percent in like-for-like sales, with the blame being put on stiff competition and poor weather in the summer.
The Big Food Group is the subject of a possible takeover bid from Icelandic retail group Baugur.
