Carrefour is testing a new urban convenience store concept called 'Carrefour City'.
The retailer opened the first 'Carrefour City' pilot store in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.
Two more stores will be opened in Nimes and Avignon in the next few days, Carrefour said in a press release.
Opening hours ranging from 7am to 10-11pm (depending on the store) and stores open six days a week, plus Sunday mornings when permitted by law. Carrefour City is geared specifically to the needs of urban customers.
