State of Jalisco will export avocados to the U.S

The Association of Exporting Producers and Packers of Avocado of Mexico (APEAM), the only cooperating partner authorized before USDA -APHIS of the United States and SADER-SENASICA of Mexico, achieved access to the United States market for avocados from Jalisco.

 

The president of the APEAM, José Luis Gallardo, stressed the importance of this opening, because this also brings commercial opportunities for other states such as Puebla, Nayarit, Colima, Morelos and the State of Mexico.

 

It should be noted that today, the APEAM is made up of 74 packers and more than 30.000 producers in Michoacán, and now 11 more packers from Jalisco are added.
