More nectarines exported to China

Australia plans to export more nectarines to China from next year onwards.
From the 1st January 2017 the Australian nectarines will benefit from reduced tariffs. Pursuant to ChAFTA (China-Australia Free Trade Agreement).
Other tariff reductions will follow in 2018 and tariffs on Australian nectarines will be eliminated from 1st January 2019.
New protocols have just come into force since late May. Orchards, warehouses and packaging facilities will be checked and approved by the ministerial authorities for exprotation to China.
