The Jubilee boosted sales of food and beverages.
The Queen's Diamond Jubilee was a great success for UK businesses.
All retail brands agreed that the Jubilee boosted sales. Waitrose indicates an increase of 19.8% and John Lewis stores
saw sales up 15%.
Food expenditure increased on average by 16.4% with wines and champagne showing the best performance: up 85% for Asda and 96% for Waitrose.
