The results of the 2017 edition confirm FRUIT ATTRACTION as one of the main international events of the Fruits & Vegetables sector.
New success for FRUIT ATTRACTION whose 2017 edition far exceeded expectations in terms of both number of visitors and number of exhibitors, thus establishing itself as one of the main international events in the Fruits & Vegetables sector.
The 9th edition of FRUIT ATTRACTION, which took place from the 18th to the 20th of October, registered the participation of 68,161 trade visitors (+ 17% compared to 2016) from 110 countries, and the presence of 1,500 exhibitors (+ 20%) from 34 countries. These figures show that the fair fulfills its main objective of serving as a commercial platform for operators in the sector.
One of the remarkable parameters of this edition was the increase of international participants who reached a total of 19,947 professionals, an increase of more than 97%. The Europeans are the most numerous, including those from Italy, France, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Belgium, confirming the show as a major commercial event for the production , marketing and European distribution.
As far as exhibitors are concerned, international participation accounted for 37% of the total, with 557 companies coming from 33 countries. With France, Italy, Portugal and the Netherlands in the lead, they presented the European offer alongside the Spanish offer. Not to mention, the first participations of Colombia, Greece, Israel, Senegal and South Africa to this 9th edition of the show.
