Belgium will once again be strongly represented at Fruit Logistica.
The stand B05-B07 in the hall 6.2 of VLAM (Office of Agricultural Marketing of Flanders) will welcome more than a dozen of companies: Bel'Export, Boussier/Belfrutex, Calsa/Weiss, DBS/DBS Agro, De Plecker-Lauwers, Demargro, Devos Group, Dries Sebrecht Fruit/DSF, Frans Michiels Belgium/FMB, Gemex, Herwi Nicolai Fruit, Pacbelimex, Vanco Belgium, Vergro, Wouters Fruithandel.
On the stand B08 suppliers of potatoes: Bart's Potato Company, Binst Breeding & Selection, Dauchy, De Aardappelhoeve, Pomuni, Potato Masters Warnez.
Belgium produces 745,000 tons of vegetables and 457 000 tons of fresh fruits. In 2012, the French market has purchased 35% of the vegetables from Belgium, the Dutch market 21% and the German market 20%. These countries are followed by Russia (5%), UK (4%) and the Czech Republic (3%).
