Anuga 2001' report

The Food Show, Anuga 2001, was held in Germany from 13th to 17th October. Nearly 165 000 buyers, including 65 000 coming from abroad, from 147 different countries, attended the show. The attendance decreased this year due to the recent political events, as expected (1999 : 183 768). There were notably less visitors from Northern America and Japan. Nevertheless, the foreign presence, approaching 40% compared to the total of visitors, was maintained.
