CFO of Parmalat resigns

Luciano Del Soldato, the chief financial officer of Italian food giant Parmalat has resigned. Mr. Soldato, who only took up the position of CFO of Parmalat last month, handed in his resignation this week. He is also to leave the board of directors. Parmalat also announced that Enrico Bondi, a turnaround specialist, has been appointed to produce a financial and industrial restructuring plan.
