The fruit logistica show has closed its doors in Berlin, Germany. The 2007 edition has shown a trend for more added-value produce thanks to technological improvements. These can be seen in packagings or process that guaranty the consummers to have the right quality of fresh fruit & vegetables, for his family. As big players choosed communication strategies "environmental friendly" with motto as "we care..." other players are presenting new process focusing on a more "easy-to-use" final products.
Apart from this "added value" trend, the market goes more and more on a
global level. Central and Eastern European are growing markets that no player can avoid now. On Fructidor.com booth, a growing interest has been registered for the new edition of Fructidor - Central & Eastern Europe database, compiling more than 2,000 company details in this area.
