Morocco can export an additional 20,000 tons of tomatoes to thr EU since 1 October.
The new agricultural agreement entered into force on 1 October.
The new agreement between Morocco and the European Union increases the export quotas of certain Moroccan fruit and vegetables and expands the list of open access unlimited
quantities.
So with this agreement, 20,000 tons of additional Moroccan tomatoes can be exported to the EU. In 2016 the exportable volume will be increased to 12,000 tons.
