Egyptian seasonal workers for Greek agricultu

Egypt will provide 5,000 seasonal workers to help meet the growing needs of the Greek agricultural sector. Egyptian agricultural workers will have the right to enter and stay in Greece for up to 9 months before returning home.

 

According to the Greek Foreign Ministry, this agreement with Egypt could be a "guide" for future agreements signed by EU countries with third countries to combat illegal immigration.
