Blueberry export volumes are already higher than expected

The ideal combination of abundant production and sustained international demand for Chile's blueberries.
The blueberry season is not over in Chile, where high volumes of exports are recorded.
According to the Arándanos Committee, export volumes of blueberries reached 107,229 tons in week 9. This is 3.4% higher than what was exported last season and well over 102,000 tons last October.
Production has increased in the different regions of the country. The northern zone where the harvests are completed has produced a higher than expected volume, the northern central zone produces a volume similar to the estimates but the entire southern zone will be far above the forecast.
The distribution of exports by market: 63.6% of Chilean blueberries are shipped to markets in North America, 23.8% to Europe and 12.1% to Asia.
