Potatoes import from Egypt to Russian market has been stopped

Agricultural specialists have forbidden (banned) import of 140 tons of potatoes grown up in Egypt and brought to Russia via sea port.
After obligatory phytosanitary control procedures, specialists have found out that potatoes produced in Egypt, contained brown rot bacteria.
Despite control results lot of vegetables intended for import to Russian vegetables market, has been provided with all required documentation prepared by Egypt producers. All the potatoes being dangerous for human health have been returned back to the producers.
