Conad continues to develop its business in Sicily with 17 new openings and the expansions of sales areas.
Conad continues its year of expansion by accelerating its development in Sicily.
Conad recorded a sales increase of 5.71% in 2011, despite the slowdown in consumer spending. Conad is implementing a comprehensive development plan in western Sicily (Palermo, Trapani, Agrigento, Caltanissetta).
Plan 2012/2013 provides for 17 new stores (hypermarkets and supermarkets) and 3 expansions of sales areas. Conad sales network in western Sicily consists of: 18 Superstore, 57 supermarkets, 35 City, 63 Todis and 15 Margherita.
