Israeli citrus exports up by 21 percent

Israeli exports of citrus has increased by 21 percent compared to last year as the country's growers benefit from shortages of fruit from Florida and Spain.
Furthermore, production of citrus is significantly up this year and the quality of the crop is said to be improved.
Due to the shortage of grapefruit from Florida, for the first time in 10 years, there is an export of white grapefruit to Japan (2,500 tons).
