Income from Peruvian onion exports exceeded $105 million in 2022

Fresh onion exports by Peru in 2022 almost maintained the trend of the previous season, totaling 300,450,861 kilos for $105,450,959, says the Agrodata Peru portal. In the 2021 season, the country exported 300,886,769 kilos of the vegetable for $105,162,753.

 

The main recipients of Peruvian onion from January to December 2022 were the United States (65% of the total value), Colombia (16%), Spain (14%) and Chile (2%), among other countries.
