Iran and Turkey could supply Qatar

 

 

The border with Saudi Arabia is closed. This unique land border that Qatar owns sees nearly 40% of the country's food supply. The introduction of new trade routes (airplanes, boats) and the stocks that are running out in the country point to a food shortage.

 

 

 

To alleviate this threat, Iran, through the voice of the Union of Agricultural Exporters, stressed that shipments could reach Qatar in 12 hours. Negotiations are also underway with Turkey for the supply of food.

 

 

 

Qatar, which has a population of about 2.5 million, produces only 10% of its food and imports everything else to meet the needs.
