Long-awaited building of Tummers’ expansion project started
Tummers Food Processing Solutions, one of the global market leaders in potato flake lines, officially started ambitious expansion plan on September 2nd. This long-awaited building project of the company is expected to take between one and two years, consisting of roughly three phases.
Throughout the entire building project, the Dutch machine building company will take sustainability seriously into account. It is noted that the company will construct a rainwater reservoir with a volume of 50,000 liters to test its machines, and the building itself will be equipped with a sustainable climate control system.
The first major phase of the Tummers Food Processing Solution’s building project is over. On July 6th, 2020, its expedition and warehousing were moved to another location, the company got enough space to expand its engineering department. At the same time, the warehouse space has increased, and all logistics processes have become centralized. Currently, work is underway with the excavation of the ground in which the foundation will be constructed.
