Deere announces doubling of yearly profits

American farm machinery manufacturer, Deere, has announced that yearly profits doubled in 2003.
Profits rose to US$643.1 million for the year ending 31st October, compared to US$319.2 million in 2002.
Annual turnover was up to US$15.5 billion in 2003 from US$13,9 billion in 2002.
