The table of the Observatory of Prices and Markets of the Junta de Andalucía indicates that the average prices of orange and lemon grow by an average of 3.4% in the third week of March 2023.
In Spain, the season for some types of citrus is coming to an end, and at the same time, prices for these fruits are growing.
In the eastern part of Andalusia, they begin with the collection of Verna lemons. The rains that fell in previous weeks served to improve the size of the fruits. Harvesting continues at a slow pace.
