With its purple eyes on white skin,the new variety Krestel will be easily recognizable on retail shelves.
South Australian Potatoe Company launched a new variety of potato.
This new potato variety will be appearing on retail shelves in Australia, Asia and the Middle East in coming months from the South Australian Potato Company.
The new variety, named Kestrel, features white skin and flesh with purple patches on the potato’s eyes.
Kestrel will be available from the South Australian Potato Company’s production for 12 months of the year, and is currently being marketed in Australian supermarkets.
