Estimate of the 2002 summer fruit campaign

Concerning peaches/nectarines, the 2002 French production is 5% superior to the former one to reach 488 000 tons. As for apricots, the 2002 crop is 80% superior to last year's and 30% compared with the average 1999-2001 to reach 186 000 tons.
