Record of date exports

Tozeur governorate alone exported 7,500 tons. The eleven investors of the region operating in the sector of date exports have introduced conditioning and reefer warehouse facilities for a total capacity of 16,000 tons per year. Thanks to these infrastructures, high quality dates are available on the market, even off-season.
Tunisian exports of dates keep on hitting records campaign after campaign. They now reach over 60 countries throughout the five continents. The industry is the third main one of Tunisian agricultural exports after olive oil and fish products.
