Panama Direct service of CMA CGM becomes weekly on Dunkirk

Dunkirk, the first French port for the import of fruit and vegetables in containers, will benefit from a service every Saturday on a rich rotation between the Pacific, Central America and northern Europe.

Panama Direct service of CMA CGM will make a stopover at Dunkirk every Saturday.

Starting from Monday, September 21, 2013, CMA CGM MANET of PANAMA DIRECT service will make stop at Dunkirk every Saturday. On a particularly rich rotation, the service will serve all of Northern Europe, the Baltic, the Mediterranean, North Africa, New Zealand, Australia, South Pacific Islands, South America, Central America and North America.

At the import, the service will provide the shortest transit time from Australia and New Zealand to Dunkerque-Port, offering a high quality service for temperature-controlled products from these countries, with volumes growing to Northern Europe and the french market. On export, it is the East Coast of the United States and the South Pacific islands will benefit mostly from this remarkable improvement.

This service consolidates Dunkirk as a major center in the field of goods under controlled temperature, Dunkirk is the first port in France for the importation of fruits and vegetables in containers. This stop in Dunkirk on Saturday has the advantage of delivering customers on Monday in the Nord-Pas de Calais, Paris, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
