Russia wants to increase imports from Latin America

Fruits & Vegetables imported into Russia may soon come in greater numbers in Latin America. 

Officials from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture recently met with their counterparts from Uruguay . The two countries want to increase their trade and Russia is interested in increasing its imports of agricultural products.

Russian officials also believe that Argentina has the potential to increase its food exports to the Russian market . Argentinian fruits producers are very interested in developing their apple shipments, pears and citrus (lemons , tangerines, grapefruit) to Russia.
