Pears stocks are nearly wasted in Poland

Based on the latest WAPA information, pears stocks are almost wasted in Poland in April 2015. It stands to mention that only 1 month ago approximately 3 000 tons of pears were stored in polish warehouses. According to the local market specialists, polish farmers managed to sell off all pears much earlier than during the previous season. Early finish of pears season could be attributed to poor yield of pears this year in Poland. As a result this year gross collection of local pears comprised 55 000 tons, this figure is 10% lower comparing to the last 5 years numbers.
