Fyffes investors back split at egm

Fyffes shareholders have plan to split into two companies for improving investors returns. The general-produce and distribution will be spun off this month after approval of a majority of shareholders at an agm in Dublin. The general produce unit will be called total produce plc. The tropical produce division will remain Fyffes plc.
