Cherry makes its entrance on the market

After a good flowering, first cherries make their entrance on the French market. The Languedoc-Roussillon region starts first at the beginning of May, but it is the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region that comes ahead followed by the Rhône-Alpes region. The reference variety is the 'burlat' cherry.
