The "Châtaigne of Ardèche" finally crowned

After eight years of procedures and work by the professionals of the sector, the AOC "Châtaigne of Ardèche" is official since June 30th, 2006. Its soil groups 197 villages distributed between the departments of Ardèche, Gard and Drôme. This geographic area bounded welcome 65 traditional varieties.
