Italian government endorses new labelling regulations for tomato "passata".

The Italian government has announced that it has agreed new provisions for the mandatory country-of-origin labelling (COOL) of the ingredients of passata, a tomato pulp popular in Italy. Producers will have to indicate on the label the origin of the products it contains.
