A minister said that the country is currently focused on negotiating commercial partnerships with the European Union.
According to the minister the process has started and an agreement with European countries is possible by the end of 2016. If the conclusion of the negotiations in line with expectations , Indonesia could benefit from the same agreement already granted in the Philippines.
Indonesia could then export its products to Europe without tax (20%) hitting its pineapple shipments.
