First-four-month figures show broader market strength.
Argentina’s Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries said 209 agroindustrial products increased their exports year-on-year in the first four months of 2026.
The products, out of a total of 332 exported items, generated USD $11.318bn and reached 29.67m tonnes, according to data processed by the Subsecretariat of Agri-Food Markets based on INDEC figures.
The growing products represented 72% of Argentina’s total agroindustrial export volume and 66% of foreign currency earnings during the period.
Several products posted strong volume increases, including lemons, beans, peaches, grape juice, orange juice, and garlic.
The ministry also reported that 89 products reached their highest exported volumes in a decade. Another 33 products that were not exported in the first four months of 2025 entered export flows in the same period of 2026, representing USD 21.4m. These included sweet potatoes, dried apples, and pears.
The government linked the performance to measures including export duty reductions or eliminations, new market openings, trade agreements and simplified export procedures.
