Live from the Sitevi (Montpellier, France): A two-tone variety of pear, very attractive

On stand B021 Hall 6, DALIVAL, one of the largest pear producers in Europe, presents the two-tone pear variety: CH201 C.O.V.

 

 

 

The pear CH201 C.O.V. is a cross between the varieties Conthey Harrow Sweet and Verdi. Its maturity comes 3 weeks after Conference. The fruit is two-tone red on a yellow background. Its flesh is crisp, juicy and sweet with a slight astringency. Very attractive, this pear will be well identifiable by the consumer.

 

 

 

With regard to cultivation, the tree has a good branching, the production is high and regular. Good behavior against bacteria and other diseases.
