Grimaldi's new terminal in the port of Barcelona and more connections between Italy and Spain.
At Muelle Costa, in the port of Barcelona, the first stone of the new terminal of the Grimaldi group was laid. The Italian group makes Barcelona a center of maritime services to its short distance in the western Mediterranean. The new terminal, called Terminal Grimaldi Barcelona, will have a total area of 63,000 square meters and will be fully equipped for the handling of goods and passengers.
Now there will be 5 weekly departures from Savona and 6 from Livorno to Barcelona and Valencia. Grimaldi adds links to Igoumenitsa and Patras, with daily departures from Brindisi and 3 times a week from Trieste.
The Grimaldi Group operates a fleet of approximately 100 vessels and provides freight services for wheeled traffic and containers between North Europe, Mediterranean, Baltic Sea, West Africa, North America and South America.
