Areas planted with strawberries, blueberries and blackberries grow in Huelva

The area planted with red berries in the Huelva province totals 11,802 hectares in the 2022/23 season, reports from the Association of Producers and Exporters of Strawberries and Red Fruits of Huelva (Freshuelva). It is a surface almost similar to that of the previous season (+0.53%).

 

 

 

The data provided by the associated companies indicate that the area cultivated with strawberries totals 6,295 hectares (+2%).

 

 

 

The blueberry surface grows 2% and extends to 3,602 hectares.

 

 

 

The blackberry planted area increased 3% and totaled 143 hectares.

 

 

 

However, the raspberry planted area decreased this season -7.5% and totaled 1,762 hectares.
