Timmermams checks the Chinese market

One of the few overseas exhibitor at SFT China last week has been the Dutch company Timmermans. It has been a first move for Jan Timmermans: "I came in China to test the market, I wanted to know if our pears taste would pleased the Chinese consumers" he added. The feed-back has been excellent as the taste has nothing to do with Chinese pears. "Even if the produce arrives in the same time of year, there is a customer base which is fond of Western products. There can be a future there", underlined Jan.
