This week, a delegation from the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) visited Chile to sign the agreements that allow fresh Chilean pomegranates to enter the Brazilian market, and Brazilian papayas to the Chilean market, according to Chilean media.
With this opening, Chile achieves the entry of all its export offer of fresh fruits to that destination.
Currently, Brazil is the second destination for Chilean fresh fruits in Latin America, with the receipt of Chilean fruits of more than 100,000 tons each season.
