Increase of 10% in exports

The Portuguese Ministry of Agriculture announced a 10% increase in exports.

Exports of fruit and vegetables increased of 10% over the past two years, and this year should reach 1 billion Euros.

The Ministry emphasizes dynamism of the sector, including companies who works to provide visibility and credibility to domestic products. The Department of Agriculture will work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to remove existing trade barriers in some countries to facilitate Portuguese exports.
